Every time the crufts ad on More4 comes on Coco goes mad. But not until the dog starts pole weaving. She sits there and watch them intently but once they start agility she loses the plot!

Best of luck on Saturday Andrea & Cooper! xx

Cant believe any animal lover would actually support crufts. I certainly wont be watching.

There's far more to crufts than the breeders that were featured on pedigree dogs exposed. For every bad breeder there's plenty of good ones that are working on bettering the health of their dogs. It's just a pity that some people deem all to be tainted with the same brush.

Don't forget the agility, flyball, dogs for life etc.

Highlights are on More4 channel 139 if you have Sky from 6.30pm tomorrow and Sunday. Just caught the end of the toy breeds final. A Pomeranian won it.

Best of luck tomorrow Andreac, and to Cooper as well of course.

It goes by group, not size - today was the utility and toy groups. The American Akita placed 3rd in the utility group ;)

Highlights of what was on each day is shown on the tele-box that evening

You can see the schedule of what's on when here.

An index of breeds shown each day starts on page 48

    TV listings here

Irish chick I didn't ask for opinions on crufts or if you like it so please keep your comments to yourself, thanks.

All dogs were subject to a vet exam before being shown. Their were also interviews with breeders who agreed something needed to be done. Can't paint everyone with the same brush ... on a side note I won a day ticket to go but can't go now, sickened :(

Was there a bulldog or a pekingese not allowed to go through to best in group after a vet exam? See a few people on facebook saying something about it.

Best of luck andrea and cooper and anyone else here entered! :D

It was the pekinese that was refused, I don't remember them saying specifically why other than he failed the vet test

    Who won best at show?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,277 ✭✭✭DamagedTrax

im looking forward to sunday for terrier & hound day.

it'll be interesting to see the staffs. there was talk of a bigger standard, going from 14-16 to 16-18, so we'll see if the judges favour the slightly taller dogs this year.
