    Morning all

As the title says I'm wondering about a value for the above

    Details
    GHIA
Full Service history with interim oil changes at 5-6 k miles
    Taxed until Jan 2013
    NCT until April 2014
    Clutch/Flywheel replaced last year
    Injectors reconditioned last year
Air Flow Meter and EGR Valve replaced last month.
Body and interior generally v clean with a number of small marks on the body but nothing that jumps out at you, v clean for the mileage.
Running with no issues and in everyday use(500ish miles per week currently).

    I'm thinking around €3,400 - €3,600?

That car sounds like it was very well looked after.
If you like the car, don't lose it for the sake of a few extra hundred sheets.
    I'd hazard a guess its worth 4k.

Whats the asking price? 4,500/4,700 or thereabouts?

Tks for replies etc. Just to clarify this is currently my own car and a relation who has started a new job asked me would I sell it to him as he needs something reliable and economical for commuting. I wanted to find out a realistic value so I could see if that was acceptable to him. Its his first job so I'm not trying to get top dollar just a fair price, hence my query.

    Tks again

Brought an 06 Mondeo with slightly less mileage (and similar repairs, flywheel/injectors replaced) to a garage looking for a trade in. They offered 4k against an 08 car.

I've been looking at a lot of 05-07 mondeo's lately. There are not a lot of 06's under 4k and those that are are not that well looked after. Plus they are all LX.

Any 06 mondeo under 4.5k will be rough or high miles and/or both....it really pays to shell out extra for a good one.

when they are up round the 150k miles + mark, they can't munch the miles like a tdi passay or octy can........so they get cheap and nasty real quick.

Op, private your cars worth 3.6k ish.

You could find cars with a lot fewer miles than that no looked after anything like that one sounds like I'd say. 5-6k oil changes, new clutch and DMF, injectors done... a lot of work don't there.

I reckon it's worth €4k private. It sounds like a good one. There are plenty of sh1t ones out there for small money. All those cheap ones will need flywheel, injectors, EGR done whereas yours already has them done which is a major plus point. If I were you I wouldn't sell it less than €4k.
