Wireless CCTV Camera image to bright

So i eventually get a wireless cctv camera set up between the house and cattle sheds and the signal is good with a clear picture during the day however at night the image comes up very bright, almost brilliant white even though the shed is pitch black or when there is a light on in the corner. It is impossible to see anything on screen. What is wrong, is it a lighting issue? Its very annoying because i spent so long trying to establish a good signal and now i cant even see the image at night when it is needed most.

Apart from painting the cows with luminous paint, is the cctv camera actually designed to work at night?

How do you connect to it? Does it have a built in web server to can use to connect to the camera and adjust the gamma etc?

ya it said it has a 15m infrared range, but even when i leave a light on to simulate daylight it still comes up a brilliant white

Are the infrared illuminators operated by a photocell for automatic turn on at dusk?
If so, your lighting could be too close to the photocell.....keeping the illuminators from ever coming on.

    What model it is?
