Hey guys, I have an ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card in my pc - and currently I have it running on a dual monitor setup using the DVI & VGA ports to two monitors. I bought a HDMI cable so I can output to my tv so I can watch Netflix etc. I just don't seem to be able to get it to output to HDMI.

Can anyone tell me how I do this? I've played around in the settings a bit but I'm kinda lost. Is there a setting I need to change, or can it just not output to all three displays at the same time.

Any advice anyone can give me to get it working would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Z

The 5450 is supposed to support Eyefinity, which is explicitly intended to provide triple-monitor support - do you have the latest drivers installed?

If driver updates don't help, have you tested just using the HDMI output to ensure that you can get the TV output working when there's no other graphics output?

As far as i know, most eyefinity (triple monitor) support requires at least one output to be from the mini-display port.

can you link the exact card you have.... if it has a mini or normal displayport socket you can get a displayport to hdmi adapter (use the active one not the passive) to do it.

Thanks for the replies guys - ok this is the one I ordered:

    Club 3D HD5450 1024MB, ATI Radeon HD5450, PCI-Express (HV1030DSDE)
    http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=52848&agid=1004

It has a full size HDMI port.
