i gre some beet last year which i stripped grazed and it turned out great. now the time is coming to start reseeding it back to grass in a month or so. i am just wondering about spraying it before spreading dung and ploughing it. the ground is redened at the moment so no weeds etc around but i suspect thy are buried anyway should i spray before ploughing will roundup or just wait and spray with an after spray like undersown when the grass is up?

If the weeds aren't green and growing currently there is no point in spraying. Spray is taken in through the green material and passed down through the plant to the roots. If there are very few weeds visible now id say plough away whenever you can and hit the weeds with an undersown spray after a few weeks when the weeds come up with the grass
