Hi all, courier arrived this morning with a package I ordered from sportsman gun centre in the UK on sunday. Anyhoo,I bought a HSF sherpa jacket in adv. timber for £59.99(was £129.99) and the best bit is, I got a free pair of HSF neoprene line wellies worth £59.99!!:D postage was £15. I took them out today in a gale and lashing rain and I'm just in the door, and can happily say I'm bone dry and was nice and warm the whole time. Jacket has loads of pockets, nice soft, silent finish and the wellies are very warm and have gusseted sides which suit my big calves perfectly. All in all, €250 worth of kit delivered for well under €100! Happy days! It's worth a look lads. BTW,sizes are a wee bit small(well that's MY excuse anyway :D)
    Woohoo!

I was tempted to grab that deal myself, but was unsure about the waterproof lining affecting breathability. Last thing I want is to be sweating buckets.
Also had the pants deal in mind, but same concerns.
How you finding it on this front?

It's a bit too soon for me to report about the breathability just yet, but I can say it is quite warm. I find it very comfortable, even if it is a little snug(I'll have to work on that) but all in all for the price I'm very happy. The Velcro isn't stitched on the best but I sorted that out in five minutes:D
The wellies are great. Nice and warm and very light.

Wore it today in heavy drizzle and fairly strong wind. I was warm and dry, however there was a bit of condensation but not much. Through both hunting and mountain rescue experience I've learned over the years that NO jacket is "100% breathable" as even the best €500 gore tex kit simply cannot get rid of all perspiration, especially if you are traipsing up and down hill after hill for nine hours. It (the HSF stuff)is very good for the price and in all honesty,I may not be the fastest walker in the world:D but I will go for hours and I wasn't to sweaty today. All in all, well chuffed.
