I have an interview this Friday to be a retail betting assistant in Paddy Power and I was just wondering it anyone could tell me what I would be doing if I got the job so I can prepare for the interview?

I imagine just taking in bets and paying them out but I just had a look at the website and the amount of stuff they have going on is just insane, especially since I've never placed a bet in my life

definitely focus on customer service, friendly polite and that! big part of it.
then it would help to do a bit of research on their current specials, big meetings coming like cheltenham, also check the website for the different types of bets they offer. After that its probably a numeracy element to it as well.

    good luck!

For anyone else having an interview for paddy power I have to say that it was one of the best interviews I ever had. They don't ask anything off the wall and it's all very straight forward however there's a 10 question math's test that you have to do and the only thing that threw me off was top heavy fractions but only for a second !

Best of luck to anyone else going for it, it's an amazing job from the sounds of it

Do you apply online or in store? When you apply in store they fax the cv to hear office so you know someone is going to read it
