    Hi,

Is there anyone on the forums that can reset warning lights for an NCT or could recommend a mechanic/garage to do this?

    Regards,

    Jonathan

An airbag light may come back up if the problem was not fixed. Thats an NCT fail. That light just dosen't come on for the craic. Get the fault codes read. The brake light could possibly mean your brake pad linings are low.

As above, have you had the fault repaired? Resetting the light will only turn it off briefly if its a permanent fault.

    Hi Plug and Nissan Doctor,

    Thanks for your prompt replies.

Perhaps I should have been more clear, I want the lights to disapperar, period. Now whether thats via resetting some sensor, replacing the sensor, replacing a part or black magic I don't mind, they just need to disappear :D

    Kind regards,

    Jonathan

Then you need to have the problem diagnosed and rectified. Any decent garage should be able to do this.

Hey ceilishark, I'd like a real answer to the question too. I have a BMW with airbag warning light on. I suspect the occupancy sensor in the passenger seat is at fault so I made an emulator and now need to reset the light and see if I got it right. Does anybody know of anywhere in Dublin or Kildare where a cheap and cheerful rest tool can be bought?

My wife called into my local mechanic who reset the light and it stayed out. 20eur.

i had same problem. i bought this http://obdtool.co.uk/wholesale/bmw-airbag-scan-reset-tool-b800.html ,diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem, reset the light. resold the scan/reset tool on ebay and got my money back, it sold really easily.

in my case it was the airbag module giving "internal error". i sent the module off to the uk for repair and got it fixed for 35euro only. mine is an 02 so u may need a different tool for your 04.
