Car is not picking up speed when I pressing gas pedal even high RPM

    While I joining motorway, my car was not picking up speed. Car was in fifth gear and more than 2500 rpm. It was slowly picking up to 80 and then reaches 100. It was not quick as it uses to be. I have notice that when I start car, engine oil pressure light on dashboard do not come for few second as it was use to at start-up of engine.
    Car has recently fully serviced with head gasket change, back box (exhaust) change.
    Can anyone tell what could be problem?

    it is a skoda felicia 1.3 petrol engine.

    Perhaps you were pressing the brake "paddle"

    I was pressing "accelerator" or "gas pedal. Not a brake pedal.
