    Hi Guys

We built 3 years ago, when building I asked could our stove heat the radiators the builder answered me no and told me that the piping could not handle the heat from the stove. We are lighting the stove a lot and just heating water for showers etc and then topping up the rooms with oil heating so its bit of a waste only heating shower water and heating one room!

All pipes leaving and entering the stove are copper (1inch) also all pipes leaving boiler are copper but all the pipes under the floor are Q flex then they turn into copper leading into the radiator.

Now the stove we have currently is only 6.8 Kw so would need bigger but is it possible to heat the radiators? BTW the builder used a plumber from the North so all the fittings are English.

get another opinion on them pipes fella, what did your northern plumber think was going to heat your water other than a stove, oil or gas would have got the water much hotter going to the rads,
