Jeans for cyclists

Those of you cyclists with "chunkier" legs, can you recommend a decent looking cheapish pair of jeans that aren't worn through in a few months. I don't ride in my jeans but seem to go through jeans at a high rate. Bought a pair of H&M baggyish cheap and they only lasted two months. I had wrangler and Diesel stuff before that, but same story, maybe 6 months or so for them. Nudie seem to come well recommended, but they're a bit steep.

I admit to being one click away from buying them in the sale, but just couldn't bring myself to spend that much money.

    On Track may stock them...

Think there's a full length version of these available. Although now that I look at them again these shorts seem to look a bit unhappy, so maybe not.

I've completely given up on using Diesel jeans on the bike. So expensive and as you said tear within months.

I've found Carhartt to be fairly hard wearing. It also seems that Levi's are bringing out a commuter range too, albeit with a slightly hipsterish styling.

Thanks guys. I'll look at Carhartt, tend to find their stuff good. BTW, as I said above, I don't actually wear them while cycling, they're wearing through by just walking.

I have a pair of swrve jeans. Very hard wearing, and very comfortable on the bike, but not a great fit when walking. Having said that, the sizing's a bit big for me, so if I ordered again, I'd size down/check if On Track have them and try them on first.

Oh, in that case, never mind the above. Go to Burton; cheap and a good fit (meaning they don't belong on the hipster kids).

Being cursed with manly thighs myself, I find Gap relaxed fit quite good.

    +1 on the Burton stuff.
Have big thighs and the Boot cut are great. Maybe not so good for the bike.

Buy them online with their 2 for £50 offer.
