    Hi everyone.
I recently failed NCT because of 1 wrong head light direction...:(
noone could fix this light- eventually one mechanic said, that I have European lamp ( lamp had been changed 1 year ago- I have bought second hand lamp to replace broken one).

The same mechanick recommended to but a sticker to change light direction ( does not make sence to buy new lamp as car is 12 years old).

I wonder, is it acceptable to bring car with sticker for NCT test ?
Did anyone experience the same problem?

    Thank you very much!

Might be best to pick up a 2nd hand headlight at a scrap yard or anyone breaking a car for parts. What make\model\year is it?

Yes, masks are acceptable and are allowed for in the NCT manual
    4. If a vehicle is presented with left hand drive headlamps and beam masks, the masks must be installed to ensure they effectively block any light projection above the 0% horizontal reference line. This would then show a pattern similar to a mirror image of Fig. 2 and can be checked as on that guide.

Those stickers don't change light direction, they simply block the top half of the beam. Using a left-hand headlamp like yours gives you reduced visibility along the verge of the road and especially if the lamp is on the passenger side. For that reason alone I'd consider replacing it with the correct head lamp a lot of sense.

PS: did your mechanic check if the headlamp was reversible. On some cars the bulb-holder can be adjusted for left-hand/right-hand drive.
