I'm forever arriving at my club only to find I forgot to unplug my battery at home and bring it with me. Dopey I know but it seems to be a blind spot I have.

I know there are devices on the market which allow you to charge your battery in the car. Any recommendations?

    Ben

No €30 and one for €20 as well I don't know if they suit you?
I can't reccomend the sellers though I don't know them.

Thanks MRC, My main concern with these is that they will continue to charge the battery when the car isn't running resulting in a flat battery

I guess the only way to find out is to try it and see.

BTW, the one on adverts seems to be this one which is now available new for £10!! http://www.technologyinthehome.com/Shop/Gifts-AND-Hobbies/457-In-Car-Golf-Trolley-Battery-Charger.html#LargePic

    I wonder why????

It all depends on how you install it. For practical and safety reasons Ild say all these chargers come with the additional gear to allow it to charge when the car is running only.

If not all you need is a relay switched from the ignition supply to feed the charger, any auto electrician will install this for you quite easily if your uncomfortable to do it on your own.:)

Just bought that one in Adverts.ie for €20 delivered so no major drama if it doesn't perform as well as I'd like. One flat battery & its in the bin!

Note to self: keep jump leads in the car from now on!!

Let us know how you get on and also what the charging time is like...I can see myself driving around the car park just before my tee time trying to charge the damn thing :D
