Taking the driving test in Drogheda - Is it possible?

    Does anybody know if its possible to do the full driving test in Drogheda?

    I know there is no longer an official test center in Drogheda and people from here are advised to take the test in either Navan or Dundalk... but I heard a few comments from people that they managed to take the test in Drogheda?

    Does anyone know if its possible or have I no other choice but to go with either Navan or Dundalk?

    Fwiw: I live in Drogheda, know the town well and have been doing driving practice in the town for over a month; so obviously being able to do the test here would help me avoid a pretty big inconvenience, since I know very little about either Navan or Dundalk...

    Any advice appreciated.

    Unfortunately it's no longer possible to sit the test in Drogheda. It used to be when testing was out-sourced a few years back.

    Your "local" options are indeed Navan or Dundalk. I'll send you a PM
