    Hi guys,

I hope this is a right place to put this thread. A friend of mine got a new phone and a tablet on upgrade as he had a contract with one of the providers already.

In the shop they agreed that contract would stay the same, however later was told that they made a mistake and he has to pay more. He was then told either to accept new conditions or to bring back the items. If he doesnt bring they going to put him into a new connection rate.

Just wonder if company can do this after everything was agreed and received?

He/She can argue that the contract was agreed and therefore has to be maintained, but somewhere in that contract im pretty sure it says the company can break the contract at any given time if they deem fit
Unfair? yes, but they write the contract of course it favours them

    Thank you!
I havent seen the contract yet, but presume so.
There was no new contract given for the upgrade pack though.

was it over the phone renewal? if so, there is a contract, governed by long distance sale agreement
