    Quick question lads, would i have any problem substituting my bsa xl tactical .17 air rifle for a 22lr both being different calibers?

    I've heard of it being done; but the real answer is that it's completely down to your local superintendent.

    It can be done. I know a friend of mine subbed and air rifle for a .17hmr last year. I think the air rifle was .22. Im not sure. Anyway,it was granted no problems.
    But as Sparks says, its all up to your super.
