I work for an Irish company and was (along with others) granted share options in our company.
I took up the 3 years option and they are now maturing.
Share price is up a good bit, just wondering what taxes I will have to pay apart from the 30% CGT due.
Somebody else told me I would have to pay USC & PRSI on it, is this right?
Are options treated differently to shares by the revenue?
Tried to look on revenue.ie but it was to long winded tryng to get the correct info.
