Fergus Ryan (Trinity Church Network) is doing a short series on the Sermon on the Mount and utilised this photo tonight to underscore going the second mile. I thought it worth sharing..

(The photo is one of a number depicting Jesus in a thought provoking way - cue some atheist wit :))

Thought provoking, but a Nazi officer would never have carried a ruck sack or rifle, just a hand gun..

It's a pity his "representatives" on Earth did not feel fit to act as he did in that photo. :(

That a small group of clergymen gave the Nazi salute, implies that a small group of clergymen were supportive of the Nazi. Given that the British Olympic team did likewise am I to presume that the British were allied with the Germans?

Just pointing out their failure to do what Jesus is depicted doing in the OP's photo. They tried very hard to get along with the Nazi government at the beginning, growing frustrated with them as time went by.

    Good concept, badly executed.

After having his pretend cosy chat with Jesus, a real Nazi would have then ensured Jesus was gassed.

Christ was crucified for telling the truth.
