3e via Sky - aspect ratio problem appears to be fixed.

    Up until a couple of days ago when watching 3e via Sky my TV always set the aspect ratio to 4:3 regardless of original programme content. Now material is being displayed in 16:9. A long running issue now fixed it seems.

    Via Saorview, 3e displayed in 16:9 for me, not Sky though until now. Always had to change the TV manually to 16:9 when a widescreen programme was aired.

    3e on Sky was permanently in 4:3 while Saorview was permanently in 16:9 but both seem to have been fixed now.

    Yes. Theres a programme on at the moment (The King Of Queens) and its in 4:3 on both platforms. Its the correct ratio for it. So the auto-switch to the proper ratio is occurring it seems.
