I just bought a D5100 although I did a photography course 3 years ago I would like to join a camera club and enroll in a begineer course.
A lot of courses seem to have started in January.
Does anyone know courses starting soon.

I would prefer to do a course through a club as they are cheaper and it gives me a chance to know other local begineer photographers.

I did the beginners course in the DCC last sept. just an evening course so a couple of hours every wednesday for a few weeks. was only 100 euro for the course with an optional extra 35 euro for membership (discounted).

I got my DSLR in April last year, so by the time the course came around, I had a fair understanding of what was being discussed in the classes. and IMHO, I found those interim couple of months practice very useful.

Also did this course with Dublin Photography School; which would have been more expensive than the DCC course (I got this through a Livin Social/Groupon offer or something). It was quite similar to the DCC course, but had a little more handson approach with a nightshoot etc.

    Thanks for the info!
I love photography and now that i have a 'proper' camera I want to learn how to use it... So just looking for some basics to actually find out what type of photography I'm interested in.

    Thanks!! :)

You have to be careful as to what you want.

Is it a "Photography Course" or a "Camera Course"?
