Free fees and tax relief?

Hi all,

Times are tough, so I'm trying to scrap the pennies together. I got my fees paid this year for my masters, but still had to pay just under €2000 as the fees were over 7000, I was wondering if I can claim tax back on that?

Also, does anyone know when the third grant installment comes in?

Yes you can claim tax relief on the 2k - assuming you paid tax in the year

If you're a full time student, you won't get any relief. If you're part time you won't get relief on the first 1000 euro. Damn finance bill.
