    Hello
I was injuried in a car accident over 18 months ago.the insurance company agreed to the pib assessment.i am waiting to see the pib doctor
My doctor sent in the medical report 10 months ago and in the mean time my condition has got no better, worse if anything.
Does the pib doctor get an up to date report from my doctor before she/he assesses me??
Its just the report in front of them is 10months old.

As a rule of thumb unless your condition has completely cleared up to your and your doctors satisfaction you should get a report each six months

Should i ask the doctor for an up to date report or will the pib get the report themselfs?

Essentially the PIB doctor is doing their own medico legal report at this point in time.... I'm pretty much in the same boat.

Initial medico legal report said one of my injuries would heal up fine, this was circa 12/14 months ago. In for first round of surgery on it tomorrow! I'm in with PIB doctor end of April.... not getting an updated medico legal beforehand.

You also have the option to reject the proposed settlement PIB come up with if you're not happy.

Did the pib send you out an appointment 2 months in advance to see there doctor?
i am just worried the pib doctor has not got an up to date report in front of him/her.
    has anyone experienced this?
    thanks for any info.

From my understanding of this, essentially piab are getting their own medico legal report through their panel doctor essentially.

Had surgery yesterday, went well.... Sore now. Time will tell if its all good. God willing. Hope this helps.

In my case my medico legal report is out of date and im not getting an updated one before seeing pib doctor.
