Ok im propped p!seed off, last night some little sh!t head took the ford logo off the back of my car, they took the dust caps too (times must be tough!)

A couple of nights ago the ripped the front logo/cover off the other ford, then over the weekend they stole the dust caps and let the wheels down on it.

Im 100% certain it was all there yesterday as I sorted the wheels on the other ford, and I put new caps onto it, wasn't touched last night.

I have an idea who it was, I've a jealous scummy dealer neighbour, they've done stuff before, I had 3 dents in the car from them firing pellets at it.

I've done nothing on these people, but they are known for attacking peoples property, they even threw acid on an elderly persons car!

Im not looking for revenge, I wouldn't waste my breath on them.. if im brutally honest, I'd love to f*ck a rock through there sh!tty 300euro junker.. But I wont..

What can I do to protect the cars more, I don't need this sh!t escalating, but im not going to be walked over either..

Replace the dust caps and put some grease on them. The next time they try and take them they'll get a surprise.

Camera and motion operated lights on your property might deter them.

A mans dust caps are at stake here. Tis no joking matter :D

Anyway the use and production of Sarin was outlawed in 1993, otherwise I'd be all for it.

Regarding the dust caps you can by a "spinner set" that require a special key to open otherwise they will just spin around without coming off.

    possibly motion sensor spotlight outside

put up stickers warning of a CCTV system having been installed, you can also buy "dummy" cameras

spend a night sleeping in the car, that would scare the sh1t out of them if they tried anything

In fairness I just had a look at the logo there and the dipsh!t took the wrong part, they took the clear part and left the fixing, anyone know a price to get one if these, on my way to ford, might get two sets if the spinning dust caps also.. There so pathetic though..

Get a set of locking/spinning dustcaps from eBay. Cheaper than Ford.

For the badge I'd probably go the eBay route as well, although if they left enough of the underside of it, maybe one of these would do the trick...

I wish I had, no guard dog either, got a price from ford, 45 for both emblems, seems a bit steep, I don't mind paying it, but I don't want it being a regular thing.

If I try a yard, could I pick up a couple for that price?

    Update:

Got a few emblems for a fiver today, well happy with that.

Funny thing is, when I was walking into my house pitch black out and I stepped onto something, looked down and it was the surround for one of the badges. It's dark so I can't see if anything else is out there.

But I know for a fact that was not there as over the weekend I detailed the car and spent hours about the garden, it was directly in front of the door too, so either they are feeling guilty about stealing or just messing with my mind..

Thinking if getting CCTV for the house, seen a nice kit, 3 cameras, 2tb hard drive, continuous recording and night vision.

What sort of money is such a set up?
I'm not overly into cameras and puters etc etc etc :o

This comes with two cameras but I could buy another two separate too

You get what you pay for when it comes to video gear. The 'night vision' is generally an array of infra red LED's and they only throw a few metres.

You can however buy separate infra red floods and flood the area with red light so that much more can be picked up. Helps with the cheaper security kit.

edit: Also, get a dvr that has network capability so you can hook it up to your LAN access them via intranet or away over www.

Im looking for something to cover the cars for during the day whist were out, night time is cool to have too, a few meters would do me fine too, I wouldn't be looking to spend thousands or have the house like the rock.

I just want to see who it is nickin the stuff, I've an idea, but need to prove it, they're jealous fools and are always up to something, they used to fire nails from a nail gun a peoples house, that alone shows there single figure IQ!

I went to a yard yesterday and got 5 rear emblems for a tenner, the front ones are ripped off with the grill for breaking so impossible to get there.

So had a revelation today, I washing the cars, when two young lads stopped in, they had a ford emblem and said they noticed ours were missing, very nice of them to offer it to me, it was an older emblem though so wouldnt fit ours, but still an extremely nice gesture.
I got talking to them and it turns out, the boys mothers car emblems were taken too, but the older brother was watching and seen it being stolen, we all know who the culprit is, he's not the brightest spark and is illiterate, his family was angrily notified about all of the cars that had been stolen from and/or damaged by him.

There was about 50 cars whom have been accounted, as for the guards, I don't have physical evidence, so the vast majority of our claims would be irrelevant, but it was dealt with in a manner that he knows if it happens again it wont be forgotten so easily, if anything like that does happen he will be the first port of call.

I was very happy with the boys attitude towards it though, they were nice lads and weren't on the revenge rampage, just said, this is who it was and if we come across one of yours we will drop it in, these two were only about 8 also!

It's usually a teenage kid who does this sort of thing alright. I remember there was a craze for it when I was 13/14 for a while. I knew a few guys who used to go badge stealing...

We're in the 90's now, raves and E.
Because there was no way anyone could possibly listen to that sh*te for 8 hours or more without being on drugs.
