Failed NCT on CO on high idle

    2000 Corsa 1.0 3 door

    Exhaust Emissions
    Engine/Oil Temp 86 C
Low Idle CO 0.37 vol% over 0.50% fail
    (720rpm) HC 22 ppm N/A

    High Idle Lambda 0.97 not between 0.97 - 1.03
    (2880) CO 1.43 vol% above 0.30% fail
HC 40 ppm above 200 ppm fail

As you can see the result was well above the limit. The car is running fine. I checked the engine and noticed the breather pipes have a lot of yellow gunk in them, could this cause the high emissions. There is no gunk anywhere else. What would be the best way to proceed?
