Try Sprinkles and Crumbs on Facebook; I was at a wedding that she did a cupcake cake for and they were absolutely scrumptious. And beautiful. She's based in Dublin.

Lily's cupcakes in Belfast are amazing. The detail is really something. They deliver to the south too. Google or Facebook.

I've spoken to Creative Cakes and Lolly and Cooke.

Had a tasting with Creative Cakes and they had beautiful cakes and the prices weren't bad.
Lolly and Cooke are very good price wise too and their cupcakes are delicious.

Both of the above have far superior quality cupcakes to Johnny Cupcakes IMHO.

Apparently biscuit cake is very popular now for weddings.

You mean for about the last 20 years!!! ;)

    Cupcakes are right on trend.

More exclusive then cupcakes are little mini wedding cakes stacked together to look like a full tiered wedding cake. Each cake/slice is individually iced like a full cake.

Each slice/price can be very expensive - possibly starting at €6 and going right upwards depending on decoration.

Look at the third pic for an example

Individual cakes cost a bomb, a lot more time consuming than cupcakes to make.

Try Top Tier from Cavan, we ordered our cake from them at a recent wedding fair. They were doing a special offer of 50 free cupcakes with every cake ordered. Plus they won wedding cake designers of the year this year.

Check out monster cakes, in dublin, they specialise in more one of a kind type things, but i'm sure they could put a unique slant on the cup cakes idea for you too. I came across them at a sponsored zombie walk where they had an autopsy cake that had to be seen (and tasted) to be believed.

We're getting our cupcakes from Bake my Cake out in Blackrock, they have a pop up shop on Anne's street in the city centre. Love their selection and their cupcakes are amazing!
