I have been on a easygoing diet for the past 8-9 months.Have knocked of a stone and 4 lb with this and exercise and am comfartable with the way it is going. I have cut out spuds and kept to one slice of home made brown bread with a salad in the evening.Problem is my dinners,I dont eat cooked veg and never have which if I did would help me fill out my plate.I usually have chicken, roast onions peas, sweetcorn and a peppers but is becoming a bit tiresome, cant seem to think of any other healthy variations no matter how slowly i peruse the supermarket.Anyone any ideas?

Have you thought of buying a steamer? Very handy and very healthy - you'll keep all the good nutrients in veg and yet still retain that nice "crunch" if you don't like the texture of (over) cooked veg.

I can't stomach a lot of cooked vegetables. Tesco do bags of frozen chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables which consist of peppers, onions, courgettes, aubergines and cherry tomatoes. This is the way I'm bulking up my plate at the moment. I might add in some of the veg I can just about stomach, mange tout, broccoli etc.

Might be worth a try but tend to gag on any cooked veg, must be a hangover from my youth.

Veg is far better for you raw anyway, so you are better off if you can eat em raw!

Same as, love raw carrots. Cooked carrots however cause me to gag, always have. That med veg stuff is the closest I can get to eating veg!
