    Saw this reg plate in Galway today, I am sure it is not legal.

    It's obviously an import car that some dealer has for sale. You see them all the time on done deal and carzone.

    Its a UK import a garage has. not legal, but lots of garages do similar.

    Its not legal. Probably a display plate from some dealer. Probably car is on an english plate and has not yet been cleared.
    You often see '09 D audi' or something like that on the display plates too.
