I was thinking of going on a solo excursion to see Berlin, Krakow and Prague in 8-10 days from the middle of March. I am very active, so being on the move a fair bit isn't a problem, but I need a rough guide on a budget and need to think of how much things will cost (like airport transfers, trains, hotels, etc). Just wanted feedback on anyone else who had experience of a similar. Also would the weather be okay in March. I was aiming to fly into Berlin on the 1st day, spend about 2-3 days their then trin to Krakow for a couple of days (check out Auswitz etc) and then train to and finish with a couple of days in Prague and fly back to Dublin. Would it be advisable to book the trains and accomodation in advance. I was thinking of staying in good quality hostels rather the hotels to cut down on costs. Also any suggestions as to how much and in what for to bring money with me i.e travellers cheques perhaps?
