Front Tow Hitch for pajero

    Hi
I have a 94 SWB pajero that us used daily for shifting and launching boats.
They are not heavy on the hitch and the pulling force required is not much either.
I want to fit a tow hitch to the front for easier driving as i have used this method in the past and it is so easy.
Looking at the front end behind the grill there does not appear to be any good mounting points in the centre.
Has anyone fitted a hitch to the front of their pajero and would you have any photos?
Long shot I know but thought I would ask.

Have a look over on http://www.pocuk.com/forums/index.php

There must be something to mount a front towbar too given how many people have managed to fit winches without pulling the front off the Paj when they get stuck. I'm sure I've seen one or two over there that have the front towbar fitted for the same reason. ;)

I started to answer in the same vein earlier but got distracted! I think you may have to remove your bumper and see what lies behind or fabricate another bumper along the lines of a winch one. Bear in mind the DOE testers can take a dim view of something likely to take a pedestrians legs off ;)

Guys who do this regularly delivering caravans with Land Rovers off set the hitch to the left so you can see past what you are manoeuvring.

This crowd Watling in the UK do detachable ones. 2nd generation pajero one is £162, but would require a cut in the sump guard. I wouldn't worry too much about it being in the centre for launching boats.

    Price list.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
