How does the following work-recently unemployed and have been renting in a place the past four months without being on the rental lease. For all intents and purposes, I've nothing in terms of bills etc tying me to this house i.e. no documentation syaing I'm living here. Prior to this I was in private rented accomodation for 18 months. What will happen when I put in my claim? I don't want to put in my parents address for obvious reasons-I haven't lived there nor been dependant on them for years and it affect my claim. Any advice?

Ok you might not be on the lease that can be common enough but how do you pay your rent? Can you show proof of payment that would tie you to this address? Maybe you could provide letter from landlord?

if you're applying for JSB then it doesn't make a difference if you live with your parents. JSB is not means tested
