Family Holiday in the Algarve

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good hotel/apartment complex in the Algarve for a family of 4, the 2 kids are aged 4 & 6?

Which would be the best month to go, July or August?

Club Praia da Oura might fit the bill, centrally located near bars and restaurants etc and right on the beach.

July & Aug, I'd imagine, would be insanely hot but other than that I can't imagine either would be "better" than the other.

If your goin July/august time id suggest somewhere that has air conditioning as its goin to be very hot .There are reviews for most hotels and complex s now on the internet so maybe pick a few places in a brochure and check the reviews on internet.

we are going in June and the kids are 3 and 1, also thinking of the Algarve.
Would love to know where you got good deals booking through.

The algarve gets jam packed in August, i'd recommend June or September followed by July.

really depends on what part of the algarve & your budget, do you want to be near beaches, golf courses, shopping, are you going to rent a car etc?

plently of other options but it really depends on the area you're keen on.

Mid july till the end of august is UK school holiday term so expect most of these places to be jammers.
