honda accord beeping noise

    Hi all,
    I have a 04 2l petrol accord.
Occasionally when I start it (turn the ignition) I get a series of beeping noises, five or six maybe. It's a different beep to the headlights left on, or seat belt not plugged in noise.
No lights showing on the dash, and car is fine otherwise.

Can't find anything in the car handbook, or with google.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks.

    Immobiliser maybe?

Are you turning the key before closing the door?

I had a aftermarket alarm that used to give beeps when the car was started, the number of them indicated what was wrong with the alarm.

Have you a Sony radio? They love to beep, but usually when the car is turned off rather than turned on.

Does it have parking sensors or bluetooth kit?

    Thanks for the replies:
    - no, not turning on the ignition before closing the door.
    - nothing has been changed with imobiliser, that I know of. Car is unlocked with the fob & started with the key.
    - no alarm fitted.
    - car has original honda radio.
    - there is a parrot bluetooth kit fitted.

    Thanks again.

In general a Honda beeps when you put the key in the ignition while a door is open, lights are turned on with no key in the ignition and some also beep for a time before you put your seatbelt on

Don't have too much experience with parrot kits so...

Could be the parrot kit, i have one in and from time to time will randomly do this 5-6 beeps in quick succession.

Don't use the parrot, so hadn't crossed my mind that it might be the problem, thanks.
Does it show a message on the display of the parrot when doing this? (will look the next time it happens).

Shows up mute, not in an accord though, on my display for a moment but just beeps.
It doesn't need to be paired just sometimes happens on start up.
