Do anPost do anything like this? Im looking at buying something on adverts of considerable value and I dont think the seller wants to use paypal.
If there was a way of releasing the funds only when I received the item this would be a better way than just a bank transfer where there would be no comeback for me.
It would be good to hear your opinions.

    Thanks

I don't think anpost offer it as a service but I've received goods from UPS as cash on delivery so it might be worth your while contacting them to get a quote

could you not meet the person ?

    - set aside a sat/sun or free day(when you are not working/in college) and go meet them, inspect the goods and pay in cash/money order.

I saw that alright on their website after I posted. I think it would work out about €70 to get the parcel shipped like this.

Meeting in person would be ideal but we live at opposite ends of the country. The seller is in Kerry and im in Monaghan.

Hopefully we will come to a conclusion today.

    Thanks guys
