Bus Eireann Student Fare Dublin - Belfast??

    Apologies as I know there is another thread similar to this but it is quite old now.


    I'm wondering if there is a return student fare for Dublin to Belfast on Bus Eireann? It seems to be impossible to purchase tickets online for the service. If there is no student fare I'd like to know what the return regular fare is.

    How can I purchase Cross-Border Tickets?

    It is not possible to purchase Cross-Border tickets online.

    These tickets can be purchased from the local Bus Station or from the Bus Driver.

    Ulsterbus, who operate some of the services, aren't set up to take Bus Éireann's on-line bookings. I suspect that you can only buy tickets from bus stations / buses.

    I think there is something fuzzy about what student cards are accepted also.
