Crossed the line last week. Here's the breakdown of the breakdowns etc:
Back wheel after 5000 km (I blame the factory/shop for a dodgy set-up)
    Chain and cassette after 7.
    Bottom bracket bearing after 8.5
    Derailleur after 9.9
5 tyres, lots of tubes, tape, batteries and a cable or two.

About 60% of the distance was commuting on or near the N7. About 95% was solo.

Fastest moment: Coming down off Powers the Pot in a dry SK, and letting it all go.
Scariest moment: Rubber-necking the shipping while crossing the St. Nazaire bridge during a contra-flow, and hitting the kerb.
Luckiest moment: 100 km spin and the chain breaks, I drifted through my own front gate.
Biggest thrill: Chasing 2 deer along the road coming out of the Sliabh Blooms, they were being tunneled by tight hedging
Most unlikely moment: Passing THE MAN outside Ballyknocken in a WW200 (he and his postmen may have been positioning for a photo when I took the lot on the inside)
All-time favourite: the Ballyferriter loop out of Dingle, and a pint in Foxy John's on the way home.

Its a Giant Defy with 105 bits, purchased with a most welcome sub from the minister.

    That's quite a day out.
