used car price lists in dealers?

I visited three dealers this morning and the biggest one told me they don't keep a hard copy of the price list for their used cars. The receptionist told me she'd be happy to have a salesman talk to me...just what I wanted to avoid.

Anyway, how common is it for dealers not to keep hard copies of their price list for used cars? Personally I wasn't impressed with it so I left.

None of the dealers disclosed mileage information, I'm sure if you queried a particular they would tell you but still, it's annoying!

We used to always have stock lists, but thinking of it, taking away the price list is a good excuse not to commit to buying something.
