Hi all I got a blow out on a 08 golf in the early hours while going to work.So I put the spare wheel to find the last nut just kept turning I wasn't far from work so I headed in, then on later inspection I found the thread ruined on the bolt so I bought a new bolt put it in and the same problem thread ruined its the hub that's threaded feck.

So how can I fix this cheaply rethred the hub or buy a new one? Thoughts cheers

Would I be right in saying the thread isn't on the hub itself? Is there some other part you can replace that presses into the hub

Sorry, most of my cars had wheel nuts as opposed to bolts
