Pine wooden flooring - needs a new lease of life

    Hi all,

    I have pine wooden floors throughout the ground floor of the house, when I moved into the house they had a lovely shine to them that has however faded over the last few years.

    I dont want to go to the trouble and expense of sanding and revarnishing if possible, so was wondering are there any polishes or treatments that may bring the shine back?

    Any suggestions most welcome.

    You should have a look at this thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056071182 as it has a lot of suggestions. I know one woman who uses wax polish over the polyurethane varnish that was put on a few years back.

    I am thinking of getting a solid pine floor throughout the downstairs in my own house - Do you have yours in the kitchen? Ever had any problems?
