Sebastian Ogier Better than Loeb in 2011?

On pure pace and talent? I look at the rallies such as Mexico he was leading until the last day crash, maybe pressure from Loeb who was right behind him. Argentina he was leading until he crashed and dropped to third and Australia when he has the chance to take the championship lead. It's funny how when Ogier had a chance to take the championship lead it somehow went wrong. I believe had he stayed at Citreon this year, it would have been his year imo. Instead he's let Loeb off the hook by leaving and letting Mikko take his drive. Mikko is solid but he ain't no Ogier or Loeb. Instead we look and he's in the underpowered Skoda which has no chance of scoring points never mind winning rallies and fighting for the championship. It just makes me so mad this brilliant talent, the next benchmark once Loeb goes is in such a poor underpowered car for this season. I hope 2013 they get it spot on.

He (Ogier) is a very talented driver but he still needs to mature a lot, he needs to handle the stress pressure better. As must as it kills me to say it Loeb was the best driver last year. Saying that I believe his outright dominance in the WRC is about to end. Firstly Jari Matti is going to be a real threat for the rally wins. When Ogier is in the Polo WRC he will be right up there too. I would not write Mikko off either, he seems to have got a bit of enthusiasm back in the car.
Mads Ostberg is a guy to watch for the fiture too. I think the Fords are as close to the Citreon as the have ever been too.

On the Skoda I don't think it's unbelievable that it's capable of scoring points. It's probably the fastest S2000 car ever rallied. I believe it will be really quick on the more technical rallies like Monte but not so much so on rallies like Finland. There are a lot of guys in WRC machinery too that are there for sponsorship rather than talent.

If VAG do as good a job on the Polo R WRC as they did on the Fabia S2000 2013 should be a great year. Carlos Sainz is helping to develop it too.

Anyway COME ON Jari Matti and Petter :)
