I'm sure this is probably a stupid question, but I can't find an answer. I bought this today: The instructions say "Apply one thin coat to clean, dry, bare nails every other day.". But does that mean I should take off the old layer before putting the new one on, or apply over the old layer? I feel like using nail varnish…

Hi Faith,

I don't have that product, but I did have this one http://images.cdnp2.beautylish.com/10/11/23/sc_56131b1321ccb60635b82dc62c0119d8/sally-hansen-miracle-nail-thickener.jpg and I read on a beauty blog that you apply one layer over the other for five days, then on the sixth day, you take them off and start again.

I can't remember what blog I saw it on as it was a while ago when I saw it.
