Looking for a sport for the 3yo. Currently enjoys kicking the ball around screaming "United! United!!" or whacking it with his hurley. Open to city and around the county as well. I don't expect there to be a great defined sports program for kids age, but hoping there is something out there where they can feel like big kids kicking a ball around. Then learn about... offsides ...and fouls....and other soccery/hurling stuff later.

(Why yes, I am fluent in all sports lingo!)

The Waterford Area Sports Partnership may know what's available for 3 year olds. There's not a lot as clubs would normally like them to be older.

They're normally not great at team activities such as sharing the ball at that age (and older too) as they like to hog it and if someone else gets it then it usually ends in tears. Pre-Schools follow the Buntus programme and that's non competitive.
