Its from one of the scam companies that ask if you have computer, offer to help fix it etc etc.
    Steer well clear.

    Hi jamescc,

Thanks for posting on the eircom - Boards Forum.
These calls you have received may be genuine, although more often than not they are bogus and even illegal. You should NEVER give out your personal information or allow someone to log on to your computer.

    Improve your Wireless Security

Unfortunately you can't block people from phoning you; unless you opt not to receive all calls (or a blanket block all received calls).
This could be impractical and even fruitless, as more often than not these callers will find a way of contacting you; either by email or by standard post, etc. The best advice is : "If indoubt, rule it out".

eircom will never attempt to call you about your personal computer and will never seek personal information from you. eircom are only responsible for your phoneline or broadband connection /or your email. On an occasion, if you were to contact eircom Technical Support, you may be asked to make an appointment to receive a call from a Technician. This will be agreed with you and a time allocated to suit you.

    eircom disclaimer
eircom will NEVER send an unsolicited e-mail asking for your password or any of your account details. If you receive an e-mail asking for any of your account details, please DO NOT ENTER ANY DETAILS and delete it immediately!

    Best wishes,
    Ant
