    im looking for a price on 1989 japanese import.
    i cant find it on the ros.ie website.
    its a 1989 toyota sprinter trueno gtz 1.6 model ae92.
    does anyone know where/how i can get a price on it before buying the car?

    Far as I know if it doesn't have a cert of conformity, they won't have an emissions figure, so it's top rate vrt, MINIMUM in this case is €700 I believe.

    Yes, no emissions figure is 36% of a minimum OMSP of €2000, which is €720.

    You should make yourself aware of Revenue’s requirements and of the documentation available for the car. Remember that the onus is on you to provide the correct documentation. If you can’t find it you should consider an alternative car or else be willing to pay 36% VRT.
