hi guys im working at a rayburn cooker/boiler with a twin burner made by nuway its a rayburnn 499k 1st time iv worked on this particular burner. only problem is no draft on the boiler side. its 2 seperate burners built in to one housing and very hard to srew apart they share a common oil pump. im wondering do they also share a common motor as the motor runs perfect on the cooker side but not on boiler side. if they have seperate motors is there an easy way to get at them. any advice v v much appreciated

There is a component at the back of the unit ,control pack I think its called. These have a habit of giving trouble. Next to impossible to source as these are not made anymore. I may be wrong but you could be looking at a new burner.

its physically a very big burner and everything else goin grand do you know though is there one fan motor or 2 what does the control unit do as theres a seperate control box on each burner at the front and they are both fine i would think a new burner would be at least a grand if lucky

As far as I know the control pack controls the fans on each burner and allows the oven burner fan to run on while cooking to extract cooking odours. New burner is made by Ecoflam and has all easily accessible and readily available parts. Think mine cost something like £1200 sterling
