Remarkably the same producer is behind this and he wants to shoot in Ballycotton again, baring in mind how many locals could have their shotguns specially cleaned for this I'd say he better make sure all outstanding debts are more than cleared.

I vaguely remember the hubub about this on the news when I was a kid. Should be interesting to see how it pans out.

Actually only watched a documentary on this a few weeks back. Apparently the guy who was supposed to be funding it was pulling a fast one and eventually went to jail for fraud.
At the end of it the producer said he was still hoping to make the film in Ballycotton but instead call the film "Holy Mackerel". Brando's Irish accent wasn't too bad either.

I was only 10 when there were here doing it last time
I was and extra in it and was so heart broken when they pulled out
But if I manage to get a part as an extra again all will be forgiven
if not then the way will go on
