    Hi guys,

I have a 2003 Nissan Almera 1.5. The fuel consumption seems to be quite high, as in the on board computer tells me I am only getting about 27MPG urban driving. I did a quick google search and it should be up around 40MPG. Does anybody have any ideas what the issue may be?

    Thanks

27mpg doesn't sound the worst for urban driving.

40mpg may be possible on long motorway trip but never in urban driving with that engine.

I've the same machine at home and the only time I've gotten 40mpg or above was when I was driving like a saint.

For urban driving, 27mpg it's not the best I've ever got, but it's better than the worst I've got
