Can I claim back USC charge

Just collected my p60, and my boss said i can claim back the usc charge as i had a medical card. When i checked the citizens information website, they mentioned a full medical card, but not the doctor only card which i have. Does anyone know if i can claim it back, or was my boss wrong. My gross pay was 12300 thanks
