    I was just reading about her last night.

    She reported on the first Gulf War from Baghdad, lost an eye while reporting on The Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka.

    It is heartbreaking to note that she died right beside Remi; the french photographer while being killed.

    Even though, I haven't read her work; I was looking at her on RTE News this evening and she seemed a nice enough lady.

    Heartbreaking news, she was an amazing journalist who went well above and beyond for the story.

    She gave us a lecture in college a few years ago and I was lucky enough to meet her again a few times after.
    An inspirational lady who was always very encouraging to younger journalists.
