Travelling to South America - Alone.

    I am hoping to travel to south America in August/September 2012 , i want to go to Peru to see Macchu Picchu and Lake Titicacca, also Argentina, Brazil and mabey one or two more places, i will be travelling alone but would love to have someone to go with , if anyone out there is interested or have the same plans mabey we could go together ?

    I found someone to do a bit of travelling with there on the Lonely Planet website. In the end it wasn't necessary as I just met some people in hostels. I know you're didn't mention Ecuador but there's one hostel there, the Secret Garden, that has communal meals every night. Great way to meet people. Any hostels that does day trips are generally good to meet people.
