I'd say 4 or 5 nil to Real here. That team is very strong, whats up with the inclusion of Callejon, haven't heard much about him this year?

    Plastic pitch?

Not sure if Real will hammer them, artificial pitch and very cold weather. Could be an awkward night for them but still should win.

Callejon starts the odd game but is usually used from the bench. Good for a goal, has 11 already this season!

    Cheers.

I have Real as one part of a five team accumulator so hopefully they can get the job done here.

    2-0 to Madrid.

Callejon has the highest shot conversion rate in Europe this year. I will try and find where I seen it earlier and pull some stats out. He seems to be enjoying life in Madrid and relished his chances in the Classico when he came on!

Any one know exactly how cold it is in Moscow?
As people have said playing conditions are not exactly favourable to Madrids high tempo game. But CSKA have not played together as a team since before Christmas and given how good Madrid have been this season they should at the very least come out of this with a draw or as expected a win. Sadly...

Havent got the sound up, what's the deal with no sponser on the Madrid kit?

    Gambling is banned in Russia

This was always going to happen...plastic pitch cold weather....Benzema off for Higuain.
Have the noisy air horns been banned from this game?

CSKA have been really good so far.

The lad Doumbia for Moscow looks dangerous when they go forward

Watching it purely to see him.

How cold is it over there?

Hes a great player from what I've heard. 45 goals in 58 games for CSKA in 11/12 season.

Id say there's a few teams having a look at him aswell

Goal out of nothing for Ronaldo.

I miss Alonso, great pass to Ronaldo on the wing.

CSKA look much better going forward than defending, that's for sure. Ronaldo has been brilliant for Real though, been surprisingly unselfish.

0/30 for Ronaldo from free kicks this season....

    Tie pretty much over tbh.

I'd say that CSKA goal has ruined a few bets for tonight, mine included. :(

Fair play to Moscow for equalising but can't see this tie going anyway other than Madrid's. Thought Ronaldo played well.

Deserved for CSKA, but you would still expect Madrid to do the business at home, especially with the away goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 658 ✭✭✭CongoPowers

You'd imagine that's enough for Madrid, but the defence is a worry. No team in the top ten in Spain has conceded more goals at home than them, always cheap give-away's too.

Maybe they will be sharper in Europe though.

    Accumulator bust now

Madrid had chances to kill it off but even with the draw tonight they'll still progress comfortably at home.

CSKA are a serious team for pulling results out of the bag at the last minute though!
